The Ball started out as a mod for Unreal Tournament 3 yes, but we have since moved on. The Ball is a stand-alone game.
Lots of reasons. We are putting in lots of effort in making the full game really be a big step up from the mod releases. We are not just packaging the mod and selling it! We are spending day and night on making it an even better experience than it already was. The full game will have about 40% more or improved content. It will contain the final level. It will feature many graphical updates. And, you’d be supporting us, and allow us to make another game like The Ball. If you liked the mod, and you want to see more of these kind of games then support us!

Possibly. The game will primarily be sold online, but retail distribution is definitely something we are looking into as well.
Since the game will be sold online you can get it anywhere on the world. The game will be localized in English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, and Swedish. We are looking into adding additional languages.
